The Final Set

Shrine Foxwoods closed on August 31, 2025.

This Final Set was recorded on September 1, 2025.

When I found out Shrine was closing I knew I had to do something to wrap up this chapter of my life.  It had been a part of my life’s biggest moments.  Playing the opening set before the legendary Dj AM on opening night, May 17, 2008.  Meeting my wife.  Our wedding.  DJing alongside music icons from around the world.  Building the award winning I Love Tuesdays party with an incredible team.  So many memories.

Not many of us had been there since the beginning and I’m proud to say that I could call Shrine my home for the entire 17 years it was open.  Having played the opening set on opening night, I felt a calling to play the final set in the space.  So, on September 1, 2025 I recorded this set.  The venue had closed the night before.  There were no more parties to be had.  The room was empty.  The music was loud.  The feelings were intense.  It was cathartic.  I was able to play the set I felt best represented the 17 year legacy of the nightclub I called home.

I hope this journey through our favorite Shrine anthems brings you back to relive the memories from your Shrine days.  This mix does not have every anthem, but it provides a good representation of songs that had the biggest impact on the dance floor and in our hearts.  To everyone who was there along the journey… the owners, managers, servers, bartenders, bottle servers, bar backs, busers, security, hosts, promoters, DJs, artists, technicians and of course, the guests.  Thank you!

How lucky we are.
To have been there.
